El Pipo' is one of the most successful and illustrious players in the history of Valencia CF. Such is his legacy that, at the centenary Mestalla, which bears the canvas alongside the Club's legends.
On 14 February 2023, Baraja took the reins as Valencia CF's first-team coach, making his debut against Getafe CF at El Coliseum on 20 February. During that stretch of the season, he was able to lead the team and get the best out of the players. It is worth noting that Baraja has already been a coach at the Club.
